Project Reconciliation and Reporting
Accounting for Design establishes a Baseline Estimate for the project that forms the basis of cost control throughout the interior design project, from start to finish.
Options for cost savings are discussed with the client along the way. In addition, the full project estimate is updated following each 30/60/90% design review to ensure adherence to the bottom-line cost target.
Should the project cost begin to exceed budget, cost reduction actions will be implemented, with recommendations for reducing cost – all while maintaining the project’s functional integrity and quality.
Accounting for Design provides the client with a Project Condition Statement, summarizing the baseline estimate, approved scope adjustments, project cost to-date information, projected cost to complete, and updated projected cash flow.
